Once a customer has been added to your software, and their short code has been selected, their currency cannot be changed. This restriction has been implemented by design.
Short Code Rules
The reason your customer's short code cannot be changed is that this is the code your system uses to recognize this customer and associate them with Orders and Invoices.
At this time, our road map does not include any changes to the way this part of the software works. This is mainly due to the errors it would create within your system.
Short Code Update Workaround
However, the following workaround will allow you to change your Customer's short code within your system. This may impact previous Orders for this Customer, and we do not recommend changing this information unless absolutely necessary.
However, if you do need to adjust this information for a Customer, follow the steps below.

- Add the existing Customer again as a new Customer using this article:

- When adding them as a new Customer, make sure to enter the updated short code
