QuickBooks Error Code 2040

Rose Rocket Error Message:

You need to omit any special characters on this customer's name in Rose Rocket. To edit their name go to their customer profile.

QuickBooks Error Message:

"Message":"Invalid String. The String may contain unsupported or illegal chars","Detail":"Element contains invalid characters "code":"2040"

Steps to Resolve:

1. From the menu of the left side of your screen, navigate to the Customers module
   
2. Locate the Customer you are trying to Invoice
    
3. Click on the Customer to open up their details on the right side of the page
   
4. Navigate to the "NAME" field of this Customer and click on their current name to edit the current text in the field
   
5. Remove any special characters within the Customer's name
   
6. Remember to click "SAVE" at the top of the page to confirm your change
