Using the Radius Parameter in Address Filters

Narrow your results using a mileage radius

What it Does

The new Radius Parameter allows users to search for results within a specific distance of a given address. This is especially useful for Lane History calculations, where proximity matters for understanding patterns and activity.

How it Works

When you apply an Address filter (e.g., First Pickup or Last Delivery) on a board:

  • After entering an address, you’ll see a radius selector.

  • You can choose a range between 25 and 500 miles.

  • The system will then return results within that radius, using the address as the center point.

Limitations

  • Radius is currently available in miles only.

  • Future updates will include support for kilometres and user-defined unit preferences.

Why It Matters

This feature unlocks more precise and dynamic filtering for proximity-based insights. Whether you're analyzing operational zones or historical lane data, it makes searching more intuitive and spatially relevant.
