Record Types in Rose Rocket Platform

Understand the types of records stored in Platform and how they count toward your plan.

Overview

Records are the foundational data components created, managed, and stored in Rose Rocket Platform. Each record is a unique data entry that captures either transactional data (like orders and invoices) or entity-specific information (like customers and partners).

Records allow you to:

  • Store, manage, and report on operational data across your business
  • Share information with external parties using tracking links, portals, and the driver mobile app
  • Streamline data across external systems using integrations, API, and EDI

Billable Record Types

Your Rose Rocket subscription includes a Record Limit — the total number of unique records that can be stored in your account. The following record types count toward that limit:

Record Type Description
Orders Individual shipment records from creation to fulfillment
Quotes Customer price quotes stored for reference and conversion to orders
Manifests Route and dispatch plans grouping tasks for drivers and assets
Invoices Customer-facing billing records generated from completed orders
Bills Carrier-side payable records
Paystubs Driver pay records
Customers Companies or individuals you move freight for
Partners Carriers and other third parties you work with
Assets Trucks, trailers, and other equipment
Custom Objects Any additional record types you've built using Builder Tools

Recurring vs. One-Time Records

Not all record types accumulate at the same rate.

Recurring records generate a new unique record each time a transaction occurs. These build up over time as your business operates.

  • Orders, Quotes, Manifests, Invoices, Bills, Paystubs

One-time records are created once and reused — they're only counted toward your limit when first created, not each time they appear on a transaction.
