What is Per Dimension/Cumulative Rating?

Per Dimension/Cumulative Rating is a flexible rating method for LTL shipments that allows users to price shipments based on various dimensions such as weight, volume, length, or custom variables. This method provides flexibility for users who need to rate shipments based on more than just flat rates, ensuring more accurate pricing for diverse freight types.

Why Use Per Dimension/Cumulative Rating?

When LTL shipments do not occupy the entire truck, partners typically charge based on factors like dimensions or weight rather than a full truck rate. Per Dimension and Cumulative Rating solves the problem of manual calculations that can lead to errors, ensuring that businesses can set up accurate rates tailored to their needs.

Rose Rocket’s new feature streamlines the process, reducing errors and improving the user experience.
