Highlighting Board Rows with Colors

Learn how to add visual emphasis to your board rows by highlighting them with colors.

Row colors help you quickly identify important items, categorize content, and organize your data at a glance.

How to color a row

1. Select some row(s) on your board.
2. Select "Color Row" from the action menu.
3. Choose a color from the palette that appears.
4. Click "Apply" to color the selected rows.

Who can see row colors?

Row colors are board-specific. Applying a color to a row applies it only on the current board. Every user on this board will see the same color, but the same row on a different board may be a different color.

Collaborating with teammates

To create a shared color system for collaborating with your teammates, make sure you're all working from the same board. Rows highlighted here will be visible to all your teammates on the board.

Personal usage

To create and use your own color system, create a new board for yourself. Rows highlighted here won't be shared across other boards.

Sharing externally

Sharing a board externally will let all viewers see the row colors on that board. Guest and External users cannot edit these colors.
