The Manifest Board is your live list of all manifests in your organization. It works like a spreadsheet that is always up to date — each row is one manifest, and the columns show the details you care about most. You can filter, sort, and search to find exactly what you need.
The board only shows real manifests (not templates), so what you see always represents active or historical trips.
Key Columns
The board can show over 35 columns. The most commonly used ones are:
Manifest ID -> The unique identifier for the manifest Name -> A human-readable name for the run Status -> Current state (e.g., New, Dispatched, In Transit, Completed) Drivers-> Who is assigned to drive this manifest Partner -> The carrier or partner handling the run Stops -> Number of stops on the manifest Orders -> Orders included in this manifest Total Miles -> Estimated distance for the route Estimated Duration -> Expected time to complete the run Total Cost|-> The all-in cost of the manifest (in your home currency) Dispatched At -> When the manifest was sent to the driver Start / End Date -> Scheduled start and end of the trip Last Known Location -> Most recent location ping for the driver Tags -> Any labels applied to the manifest Special Instructions -> Notes for the driver Signee Name / Email / Phone -> Contact who signed off on delivery Created At / Updated At -> Record timestamps
You can show or hide columns to match your workflow — click the column settings icon on the board to customize your view.
Filters
Use filters to narrow down the manifest list to exactly what you need. Available filters include:
- Status — show only dispatched, in-transit, or completed manifests - Drivers — filter by a specific driver - Partner — filter by carrier or partner - Tags — filter by label - Dispatched At / Start / End Date** — filter by date ranges - Total Cost — filter by cost range - Special Instructions — search by instruction text - Manifest ID / Name — text search - Signee fields — filter by who signed - Created At / Updated At — filter by when the record was modified
Active filters appear as pills at the top of the board so you always know what is being applied.
Creating a Manifest
Use the Create Manifest button in the top-right corner of the board. You can:
- Create manually — opens a new manifest form where you add stops, assign a driver, and attach orders. - CSV / Spreadsheet upload — import multiple manifests at once from a spreadsheet file. This option appears in the dropdown next to the Create button.
Saving Custom Views
You can save filtered and sorted configurations as named views within the board. For example, you might save a view called "Today's Dispatched Runs" that filters by today's dispatch date and status = Dispatched. Views are saved per board and can be shared with your team.
Tips
- Use the **Status** filter first to separate active runs from completed ones — this is the fastest way to see what needs attention right now. - The **Last Known Location** and **Last Seen Time** columns are useful for tracking drivers in the field without opening each manifest individually.- If you regularly work with the same set of filters, save a view so you do not have to re-apply them each session.
- The **Tags** column and filter are a great way to categorize manifests by region, customer, or run type.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit a manifest directly from the board? You can click any row to open the manifest detail view, where you can make changes. Some fields (like driver assignment) can also be updated inline from the board.
Why can't I see certain manifests? The board applies security filters based on your role and permissions. If you expect to see a manifest but it is not showing up, check with your administrator to confirm your access level.
Can I export the manifest list? Yes — use the CSV export option from the board menu to download the current filtered view.
What is the difference between a manifest and an order? An order is a single shipment request (one pickup, one delivery). A manifest is the trip that fulfills one or more orders — it is what gets dispatched to a driver.
