Users can now allocate revenue and costs from the manifests, ensuring a clear breakdown of profitability for each leg of a shipment. This feature is especially useful for LTL (Less than Truckload) operations.
Introduction
Understanding profitability is crucial for trucking companies and freight brokers. With Manual Cost Allocation in Rose Rocket, users can now allocate revenue and costs at the manifest and order level, ensuring a clear breakdown of profitability for each leg of a shipment.
This feature is especially useful for LTL (Less-than-Truckload) operations, where multiple orders are part of a single manifest, and costs need to be split fairly across shipments. By allocating costs manually, businesses can see per-leg profitability, track expenses, and make data-driven decisions.
