Set up automatic delay alerts in Rose Rocket and quickly update your customers about late deliveries - leaving manual ETA tracking in the past.
Using a combination of either integrated ELD location or MacroPoint location, Rose Rocket's HERE maps ETA calculator, and the new delay alerts - you never have to worry about manually tracking an order again. If an order is identified as being delayed, you will receive an in-app notification as well as an email pinging you about the delay, so you can action immediately.
Also - you can let your customer know as soon as you know, without having to pick up the phone or leave Rose Rocket.
Learn all about how to set up delay notifications and update your customers below.
How it Works:
You will receive an in-app notification, email notification and prompt to send an email to your customer when an order's Delivery ETA is greater than the Requested Delivery time.
Delivery ETA can be manually set or calculated by HERE maps.
How to Set it Up:
Alerts are set up on a customer level and will apply to all orders for that customer. To set up to go the customer profile and enable delay alerts.
Then, select your delay threshold. Options are: 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour.
When an order is in transit and the order reaches the delay threshold, 'ETA Status' will be marked as delayed and you will receive an in-app notification.
If you click on the notification, it will bring you to the delayed order full view. You will then see the option to email your customer regarding the delayed order.
Please note: Subject Line and Email Body are pre-populated but can be edited before sending. You are also able to send yourself a preview email if desired.
