FAQ

What is DataBot?

DataBot is a PDF order importer that scans documents like rate confirmations (but not limited to) and turns them into orders in Rose Rocket. DataBot is well-loved for cutting down order entry time into seconds.

With our OCR capabilities, Rose Rocket will accept order documents from any customer. In addition, the document imported can be a PDF, JPEG, or PDF in app (only PDF if forwarded via email-see below for details).

Imported orders will include the details on the document, including:

  • Customer
  • Load tender number
  • Quote (generated off price)
  • Requested pickup and delivery
  • Address details
  • Commodities (weight, quantity)
  • Billing party
  • Shipper notes
  • Special instructions

The details of the order can be edited once imported.

OrderBot supports imports for both point-to-point and multi-stop orders.

How do I know if an import fails?
