How It Works

International address is enabled by default. To customize the setup further, follow this step:

  1. Navigate to Settings
Go to Settings > General and click Edit.

  2. Locate the Countries Setting
Scroll down to find the Countries section.

  3. Choose Your Address Configuration
    You have two options:

    • All Countries: Allow searches globally across all countries supported by Google’s Places API.

    • Specific Countries (up to 5): Restrict address search to selected regions.
  4. Save Changes
After selecting your configuration, scroll back up and click Save to apply.

Using International Addresses in Orders & Manifests

  1. Add a New Address
When creating an Order, Manifest, or Partner Profile, type the address into the search bar.

  2. Auto-Fill Province, State, and Country
Rose Rocket automatically fills these fields based on your search.

  3. Manually Edit if Needed
You can manually adjust state or province to reflect the correct region.

  4. Verify Address Formatting
Confirm that the address follows Google's formatting standards for optimal mapping and routing.

Use Case Examples

  • A freight broker focuses on U.S.–Mexico cross-border shipments. They enable only the U.S. and Mexico to prevent reps from mistakenly quoting European or Asian addresses.

  • A dispatcher builds a manifest including stops in the U.S. and Mexico, with accurate address validation.

  • A customer success manager uses auto-fill fields to reduce entry errors for an international client.

Best Practices

  • Enable Specific Countries if you focus on a few key international regions.

  • Use All Countries for freight operations with global reach.

  • Always verify addresses after auto-fill for compliance with customs paperwork.

  • Train CSR teams to manually edit fields when addresses need minor adjustments.
