FAQs
What’s the difference between a GL Account and a line item type?
GL Accounts are financial categories tied to your company’s chart of accounts. Line item types are more operational, like "Fuel" or "Freight Rate"
Can I automate which GL account gets assigned?
Yes! Use Automation Builder to assign GL codes based on rules like item descriptions or types. Contact your account representative or support@roserocket.com for support.
Can I pull reports by GL account?
Yes, but there are no out-of-the-box reports. You can request help from Rose Rocket to set up custom reports by GL code.
Can I edit a GL account after it’s been used?
You can rename or adjust it, but removing accounts used in transactions is not recommended.
