Editing Reports
Create New Versions makes a personal copy of the original report. It does not override the pre-built reports in your Analytics account, so don't worry about losing your pre-built reports.
There are tons of customization features available in Rose Rocket. Let's take a look!
- Data: This is how you add data fields from your report version. The Dashboard Datasets will provide a list of available fields that you can use in the particular report.
- Charts: To create new charts, simply navigate to the "Add Item" tab. These charts are interactive, providing you with the ability to explore specific data in more detail.
- Pro Tip: Clone an existing chart! This is an easy way to use if you want the same type of item like a filter or table, but need to change the data.
- Settings: This is where you can update how a chart works on your report. This is the best option to use when you want to modify settings such as filter defaults, value display or style.
- Dashboard Filters: This is where you can set default filters on the entire report that you don't want other users to change. For example, you can set the dashboard filter for
Invoice Export State = Not Exported.
Schedule Email Delivery
Set up automatic email delivery for pre-built reports or personalized versions from the drop down menu.
From there, you can specify the cadence, time and recipients for the reports to be delivered. You can also send the report in PDF, PNG or CSV (only available for tables and pivot tables).
This feature is especially useful for sending weekly summaries to your manager, custom reports to your clients, or overdue invoices to your Accounting team.
Download Export
You can download reports as PDFs at any time to improve team collaboration!
How to Access
There are no seat limits on the Platform Analytics Module. Admin users can enable access to any user roles from their Rose Rocket profile.
Customers with Analytics-Tier 1 can download PDFs, schedule report delivery and have basic filtering features.
Advanced Edit Mode is available to customers with Analytics-Tier 2. For more information, contact your Rose Rocket sales representative or email support@roserocket.com.
