      Configure Driver Profile Settings

      Add and edit custom fields in the Driver Profile to store important driver information in Rose Rocket

      Rose Rocket introduces a new Driver Object, enabling businesses to store and manage more detailed information about their drivers. This feature allows you to customize driver profiles to fit the needs of your business, including storing licenses, contact details, automation, and more. With this enhanced driver profile, trucking companies can easily manage and track their drivers’ activities, licenses, and performance all in one place.

      Benefits of the Driver Object

      • Customizable Fields: Businesses can extend driver profiles by adding custom fields for various data, such as license and insurance information.
      • Automation: Automate updates such as starting/ending locations, loaded miles, and more, which helps streamline operations.
      • Improved Tracking: Monitor driver location history and share information about drivers’ last known location.

      Step-by-Step Guide to Using Driver Object

      Step 1: Access the Driver Profile

      1. Navigate to Driver Profiles:

        • Log in to Rose Rocket, and go to the Drivers section where driver profiles are stored.

      2. Customizing Fields:

        • To create new data fields or edit, go to the Data Panel and select Edit Data Panel.
        • You can add custom fields to the Driver Object using the Object Builder feature. Examples include license expiration dates, DOT information, or specific contact details.

      • You will be directed to Object Builder for the Driver Profile, where you can create custom fields, link fields, or edit field names.

      • With this ability, you can store contact details such as emails and phone numbers, driver's license, and other required documents.

      We recommend not storing sensitive information like medical documents in Rose Rocket, as this requires a complex security setup to ensure the driver's medical information is not accessible to other members. For more information, contact support@roserocket.com.

      Step 2: Automate Driver Profile Updates

      1. Set Location Automation:

        • Store starting and ending locations on driver profiles, which automatically populates manifests and tracks miles traveled.

      2. Link Assets to Drivers:

        • Tie a specific asset (such as a truck) to a driver for easier management of assigned vehicles and routes.

      3. Track Licenses and Certifications:

        • Store and automate reminders for certifications like DOT or MC numbers.
