How It Works
Driver arrival times can be recorded in 2 ways.
Driver Logs Arrival via Mobile App
-
Driver Opens Assigned Order
The driver logs into the Rose Rocket Driver App and taps on the assigned order. -
Tap the Stop
From the list of stops, the driver taps into the pickup or delivery stop they are arriving at. -
Tap on “Actions” > "Arrive at task"
Upon arriving at a task location (e.g., pickup or delivery), tap on Actions and click the Arrive button to log the date and time.
Manually Update Arrival Time in the Platform
-
Navigate to the Order
Go to the relevant Order in the Orders module. -
Click on "Tasks"
Driver arrival times are stored in Tasks within the orders. -
Click on the "Actual Arrival Time" Field
Manually enter the arrival date and time.
Use Case Examples
-
A driver logs arrival at a customer dock, and the CSR sees it in real time.
-
A dispatcher updates an arrival time manually after receiving a call from a driver who had phone trouble.
Best Practices
-
Encourage drivers to log arrivals as soon as they reach a stop for accurate data.
-
Review arrival timestamps regularly to monitor delays or early arrivals.
-
Use this data to improve scheduling and identify bottlenecks at high-traffic locations.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Arrive button is not working—can I fix it?
