Set up GPS location tracking

Get location updates while minimizing interrupting drivers by setting up GPS location tracking in the Driver Mobile App. Follow the instructions below to enable location sharing in the Driver Mobile App:

  1. Open the Driver Mobile App and navigate to the “Active” tab.
  2. Enable “Sharing Location” to allow the app to access your device’s location.
  3. You can turn off location sharing at any time.

Additionally, customers with the free subscription can connect with over 30 ELDs, such as Motive, Samsara, Geotab, or Verizon. Users can manually enable ELD integration for individual orders with a free subscription. The last known location data will appear in the order or manifest's map view.

  1. Head into an order that you want to track.
  2. In the Data Panel, click "Connect to ELD" and log in with your ELD credentials.
  3. The driver's last known location will appear on the map and in the Last Know Location field for 30 minutes. You can reenable the ELD connection every 30 minutes.

With a paid subscription, the ELD integration will be refreshed automatically for all orders. For more information, contact user-feedback@roserocket.com.
