What is DataBot?
DataBot is an AI-powered order scanner that scans documents like rate confirmations and load confirmations and turns them into orders in Rose Rocket.
With our OCR capabilities, Rose Rocket will accept order documents from any customer. In addition, the document imported can be a PDF, JPEG, or PDF in the app (only PDF if forwarded via email; see below for details).
Imported orders will include the following details on the document, including:
- Customer
- Load tender number
- Quote (generated off price)
- Requested pickup and delivery
- Address details
- Commodities (weight, quantity)
- Billing party
- Shipper notes
- Special instructions
The details of the order can be updated once imported.
DataBot supports imports for both point-to-point and multi-stop orders.

FAQ
What format do Rate Confirmations need to be in?
Rate confirmation documents can be in a PDF or PNG format to be imported into the app.
How many rate confirmations can I attach to one email?
Attach up to 100 Rate Confirmations or 20MB in a single email.
How do I know if an import has failed?
If an import fails, Rose Rocket will send you an email letting you know which order could not be imported and the reason for the failure. Failures are caused when trying to import unsupported templates or documents with unreadable text. We recommend entering the order directly into the system if an import fails.
