      DAT Load Board Integration

      Eliminate manual input by posting loads directly to DAT.

      The DAT load board integration enables both brokers and carriers (with primary focus on brokers) to post loads directly to DAT from within Rose Rocket, eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors while providing access to an additional marketplace to secure better margins and increase load coverage options.

      How to Set Up Your DAT Integration

      Setting up your DAT integration requires both an existing User Account as well as a Service Account. 

      Step 1: Get your user account

      Existing users should already have a user account with DAT. If you don't have an existing account with DAT, please email inquiries@dat.com so they can set one up for you.

      Step 2: Get your service account

      In addition to a user account, you must also request a Service Account. You can get this account by emailing techsupportteamleads@dat.com with the following information. 

      • Your name 
      • The name and phone number of your company's main contact 
      • Any unique identifiers for your company (MC#, Address etc.) 
      • A new email address that can be used for your service account. This should be a company-wide email that isn't associated with an existing user, that you'll use to log in on behalf of your organization. 

      Most companies create this email address by either generating a new email (e.g. datserviceaccount@abclogistics.com) or using a group email (e.g. admin@abclogistics.com). 

      Step 3: Login with your credentials

      Once you have a DAT Service Account, you can proceed to set up the integration in Rose Rocket. Each team member will need to log in with the following credentials: 

      1. New Service Account Username: This is the email associated with your service account.
      2. New Service Account Password: This is the password associated with your service account.
      3. Username: Email address associated with the user's DAT account. The user associated with this email must have a paid account within DAT.

      How it Works

      Once you have set up the DAT integration, you will see a “Post to load board” widget in the order workflow.

      1. Navigate to the order you wish to post on DAT.
      2. Go to the 'Post to load board' widget within the order and click 'Post to DAT.'
      3. Fill out the fields then click 'Post to DAT.' It will instantly post to your DAT.

      Best Practices

      • Update posting or remove posting. You won't be able to update or remove posting in DAT. You will need to do it within the order in Rose Rocket.

      • Post to load board widget. This is only available in the order, not manifests or quotes.

      FAQs

      Can you pull or search load boards within Rose Rocket?
      This is currently not available in Rose Rocket.

      Can you close a posting?
      Currently, the option to close a posting is not available; however, you do have the ability to remove a posting if needed.

      Why is DAT not showing my updated post?
      After updating your post in Rose Rocket, please ensure that you refresh your DAT page to view the changes.
